The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a Lead Assistant Coach for Men’s Soccer to support the Head Coach in operating a competitive NCAA Division III program in Pennsylvania.
This part-time role involves assisting with training sessions, game preparation, scouting, recruiting coordination, and student-athlete development during the Fall season, with lighter duties in the off-season. Applicants should demonstrate strong leadership and soccer knowledge.
The Lead Assistant Coach serves as a key member of the coaching staff and assists the Head Coach in all aspects of operating a highly competitive NCAA Division III men’s soccer program.
This is a part-time appointment. Hours will generally range from 10–15 hours per week during the non-traditional season and offseason periods and 25–35 hours per week during the traditional Fall season.

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
