Downeast CU in Unity, ME is seeking a Part-Time Member Services Representative to join our Unity branch. Pay starts at $20.00 per hour. The role centers on serving as a member advocate, handling transactions, and providing information on the full range of credit union products and services.

The successful candidate will greet members, process transactions, answer questions, resolve issues, and promote products to meet members’ financial needs while upholding our People Helping People philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and visitors in a professional manner and provide prompt, accurate service in processing transactions.
• Provide general and account-specific information about credit union services and policies in person or by phone.
• Respond to member inquiries via email or other electronic requests with professional and timely service.
• Handle routine member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and card payments.
• Promote credit union products and services based on members’ needs.
• Assist with balancing accounts and resolving discrepancies to maintain accuracy.
• Travel to other branches when needed and support cross-branch collaboration.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow all safety, security, and policy guidelines.
