Job summary

Londonderry Village in Palmyra, PA is seeking a Part-Time Medication Technician for the Personal Care unit. You will safely prepare and administer medications, assist with ADLs, and maintain resident dignity and safety in a compassionate, person-centered environment.

Shifts include 2:45p-11:15p with every other weekend and holiday, and 6:45a-3:15p with every other weekend and holiday. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, retirement plan with company match, life insurance, and wellness

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to meet state licensing requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required to get started.
• Must hold a PA Medication Technician certification or be willing to obtain upon hire.
• First Aid and CPR certifications preferred, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• At least one year of hands-on experience as a PCA or Medication Technician is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments to residents as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and compassion.
• Record all medication administration and treatments using the EHR system with attention to detail.
• Meet regulatory requirements set by the PA DHS, including training renewals.
• Take charge of the unit during your shift to keep operations running smoothly.
• Report incidents or changes in a resident's condition promptly to the PC Administrator.
• Complete incident and change-of-condition reports thoroughly and on time.
• Reorder medications, treatments, and nursing supplies to ensure consistent care delivery.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and maintain privacy per HIPAA.
