Job summary

Distinctive Living in Monroe, NJ is seeking a Part-Time Medication Aide to provide ADL support and medication management to residents under the supervision of the Health and Wellness Director. You will follow physician orders, document care, and help maintain regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of caregiving experience, and a current HHA or CNA credential, with at least 6 months supervisory exposure and strong communication with medical staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of caregiving experience.
• State-required HHA Certification or CNA license.
• 6 months+ supervisory experience in a health-related field.
• Ability to read physician orders and match to medications.

Responsibilities

• Follows resident service plans and medication administration per physician orders.
• Documents completion of tasks daily and notes changes in condition as required.
• Communicates resident needs with other Medication Aides for consistent quality.
• Participates in dining services—serving, clearing, and cleaning the dining room.
• Maintains certifications and participates in ongoing trainings and regulatory compliance.
• Ensures safety compliance and assists with incident investigations as needed.
