Job summary
Washington Adventist University is seeking candidates for medical-surgical clinical nursing adjunct faculty in the Department of Nursing for the 2019-2020 academic year. For the Fall semester, an adjunct faculty member is needed to teach medical-surgical nursing on Thursdays, day shift.
In addition, an adjunct faculty is needed to teach a day-shift nursing home clinical on Tuesday for the second half of each semester. Applications will be reviewed periodically based on student enrollment needs.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing and 2 years of clinical experience.
- Current RN license in Maryland or Multi-State Privilege License.
- Current CPR Certification.
Responsibilities
- Clinical instruction and supervision of up to 7 students.
- Evaluation of students based on their clinical performance.
