Job summary

i-Health's Twin Cities Orthopedics division in Vadnais Heights is seeking a part-time Medical Scribe to document patient data in the electronic health records system and to assist with patient care and administrative tasks.

You will work with providers during visits, ensure accuracy of entered data, follow coding requirements, and support room preparation, imaging scheduling, prescription coordination, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology required.
• Knowledge of diagnostic procedures, pharmacology, and treatment assessments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document patient data into electronic health records during patient visits.
• Ensure accuracy of patient information entered into the system.
• Follow coding requirements during entry of patient information.
• Retrieve data as needed related to the patient visit.
• Assist with room preparation, imaging scheduling, and other duties as assigned.
