Job summary

BioLife is hiring a part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomist in Appleton, WI. You will greet donors, screen and monitor vital signs, and collect plasma to support center operations.

You will work 4–6 hour shifts, 3+ days per week, including weekends and holidays, with a focus on donor safety and service excellence. Proficiency with the Donor Information System and accurate record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shifts.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Lift up to 5 lbs; occasional lifting up to 32 lbs; rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination and depth perception.
• Glove wear for most tasks due to exposure risk.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor and staff safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger sticks.
• Use the Donor Information System and maintain donor charts and records.
• Coordinate donor compensation and identify process improvements.
• Support a variety of shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
