Job summary

The ideal candidate will hold CMAA or CCMA certification or an equivalent credential, have at least three years of healthcare experience in medical offices or administration, and be proficient with Electronic Health Record systems

Qualifications

• Minimum CMAA or CCMA or equivalent healthcare credential.
• At least 3 years of recent professional experience in medical offices, healthcare administration, or medical assisting.
• Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and healthcare technology platforms.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA, medical terminology, insurance verification and billing, scheduling and patient service.
• Minimum of three years of full-time teaching in healthcare, allied health, or health science education or workforce training.
• Experience teaching adult learners or workforce development preferred.
• Ability to prepare lesson plans, deliver classroom instruction, evaluate progress, and support CMAA exam prep.
• Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
