Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related sciences.
• Certification eligibility for ASCP, AMT, NCA or equivalent within 12 months.
• Ability to maintain quality control and keep detailed records.
• Proficient in using laboratory information systems and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory tests on patient specimens to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintains performance records and ensures results meet quality control standards.
• May participate in research and development activities.
• Acts as a resource for staff and may instruct students and non-laboratory staff.
• Follows standard operating procedures and assists in procedure development.
