Sanford Health’s Laboratory team in Marshfield, WI is seeking a part-time Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician to join our bench. You will perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical testing and deliver timely results to nursing staff and providers.

A Bachelor's degree in laboratory or biological sciences and MLS/MT certification or registry eligibility are required; ND licensure may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in laboratory or biological sciences required.
• Possess MLS certification through an approved agency (e.g., ASCP) or be registry eligible; MT certification also acceptable.
• Registry eligible candidates must complete the Board of Registry exam within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of testing.
• Follow standard operating procedures for MLS/MLTs.
• Ensure laboratory safety, quality, and regulatory requirements are met.
• Recognize safety hazards and comply with safety protocols.
• Collect and process lab specimens with proper equipment.
• Perform clinical laboratory testing using manual and automated methods.
