Job summary

MedAire is seeking an instructor to deliver training programs developed by Education Services to clients, providing instructional support as directed.

You will participate in planning and conducting the Instructor Orientation Program, contribute to quality initiatives, and represent the company at conferences. You will assess student progress, ensure timely project completion, and assist with curriculum development as needed.

Qualifications

• Aviation-focused instructor experience is preferred.
• Experience as a clinical educator in medical settings is required.
• Current unrestricted RN or EMT-P license is required.

• Provide support to administrative staff with special projects or tasks.
• Maintain client information in confidence per HIPAA and other regulations.

Experience Required

• Aviation-Focused Instructors: 5 years clinical experience in flight nursing or flight paramedics or equivalent experience as an RN or EMT-P with demonstrated knowledge of aviation physiology.
• Maritime-Focused Instructors: Previous critical care or ER preferred, preferred experience in maritime environment, including employment onboard a private or commercial vessel, or equivalent experience, such as training in STCW requirements, clinical training in wound care, including suturing.
• 5 years adult medical educator experience.

Additional Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as an RN or EMT-P.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Instructor or Heart Saver Instructor certification.

Travel/Rotation Requirements

• Must possess valid driver’s license and passport.
• Must be able to provide proof of adequate insurance coverage as defined by state of residence.
• Must have or be able to obtain valid credit card.
• Must be able to travel by air domestically and internationally. Must reside within 60 miles from a major/international airport.
