Cornerstone Clinical Partners, a physician-led medical group focused on skilled nursing facilities in NC and VA, seeks a Medical Director/Attending Physician in Wilkesboro, NC. Part-time (1 day/week) with a salary of $50,000–$60,000.

You will coach clinical staff, guide program development, and ensure high-quality patient care while advancing best practices in our facilities. You will chair QAPI activities, support regulatory readiness, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve

Competenze

• CMD certification preferred.
• Extensive experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement in LTC.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds and stand/walk up to 6–8 hours daily.

Mansioni

• Ongoing oversight and mentorship of medical staff to maintain high care standards.
• Lead credentialing for prospective medical staff.
• Chair or co-chair QAPI Committee quarterly.
• Assist in DOH survey preparedness and regulatory compliance.
• Lead implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives.
• Stay updated on geriatric care advancements and enhance facility offerings.
• Provide direct patient care to residents with high-quality clinical treatment.
