Cornerstone Clinical Partners in Aberdeen, NC is seeking a Medical Director/Attending Physician to oversee delivery of comprehensive care for residents in our skilled nursing facilities.

You will lead clinical staff, ensure high-quality patient care, and drive quality improvement initiatives while maintaining regulatory compliance. This part-time role offers meaningful impact and collaboration within a physician-led team.

Qualifications

• CMD certification preferred.
• Extensive LTC or SNF experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality processes in LTC.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing oversight and clinical guidance to the medical staff.
• Foster a collaborative environment promoting best practices and professional development.
• Lead the interview and credentialing process for prospective medical staff.
• Chair or co-chair the QAPI Committee on a quarterly basis.
• Assist in DOH survey preparedness and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives.
• Stay informed on geriatric care advancements to evolve clinical offerings.
• Provide direct patient care to residents.
