Job Position Description:

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy medical environment for our customers' ancillary building by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities.

Primary duties include:

• Medical cleaning, wiping down exam rooms with sanitary cleaner, cleaning lobby, break room, bathrooms, other non-surgical procedure rooms, etc.
• Shift is 5 days a week, 4 hours a day, from 5:00-9:00 p.m., at $15/hr.

Other duties may be assigned:

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
• Cleaning duties include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, window cleaning, and moving chairs and equipment on wheels.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Use proper PPE where required.
• Clean all areas including kitchen/break room, lobby/hallway, exam rooms, offices, and bathrooms.
• Place safety hazard signs such as “wet floor” signs as necessary.

Qualifications:

• 0–1-year experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus but not required.
• On-the-job training will be provided to those with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is a plus.
• Must be flexible, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and handle multiple tasks.
• Dependability, punctuality, and a uniform are expected.
• Respect and understanding for co-workers and customers.
• Must be able to communicate in English.

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead and forward. Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs.
• Ability to read and understand cleaning instructions.
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and their uses.
