Job description

Join our clinical staff as an essential Aspire Allergy Medical Assistant and contribute to our mission of curing patients with allergy, asthma, and sinus problems. You'll be administering allergy tests and injections, providing exceptional support during in-office procedures, and assisting with front-office administrative tasks. Help us deliver an extraordinary patient experience from start to finish!

Clinic Schedule & Hours:

Monday/Thursday 8am-5pm

May be required to travel to other clinics as needed (less than 10% of your time)

Responsibilities:

• Escort patients to exam rooms; obtain vitals, medical history, and current medications
• Communicate allergy testing and treatment protocols to patients
• Administer injections: subcutaneous, intradermal, and intramuscular
• Conduct spirometry testing
• Record patient information accurately in EHR system
• Greet and direct patients and visitors
• Assist with phone calls and provide information
• Manage clinical inventory and resupply as needed
• Complete end-of-day reports and logs
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and safety protocols
• Cross-train in front and back-office duties such as:
• Proficiency in Practice Management in EHR
• Obtain CT authorizations
• Scan and attach documents to charts
• Check-in and check-out patients, including payments
• Schedule appointments and enroll patients in treatments

Minimum Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to administer injections and manually take vitals
• Ability to maintain effective relationships and react calmly in emergencies
• Ability to travel among clinics in the region

Education & Experience:

• Valid driver's license
• Preferred: Medical Assistant program or degree, 1+ years of experience, CPR certification
