Job summary

St. Elizabeth Physicians in Crestview Hills, KY is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant (27 hours) to support physicians and pediatric providers.

You will take vital signs, prep exam rooms, and assist during examinations in a fast-paced outpatient setting. The role emphasizes documentation, patient communication, HIPAA/compliance, and timely turnover of patient information, with no nights, holidays, or weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year MA, CNA, PCA, STNA or SEH Clinical Care Tech experience or MA program completion with externship or SEP internship or EMT certification.
• Education: High School Diploma/G.E.D. and knowledge of MS Office tools.
• Preferred: CCMA, CMA, RMA, ARMA or EMT credentials.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms, take vital signs, and document in charts.
• Assist providers during examinations and perform basic nursing procedures.
• Ensure HIPAA/OSHA/CLIA compliance and maintain patient records and forms.
• Collect specimens, administer medications as directed, and prepare patient for exams.
• Triage messages and coordinate referrals and scheduling.
