The role requires certification/licensing options (AAMA preferred, LPN, LNA) and proficient computer skills with EHR experience preferred. The position involves patient intake, chart prep, vital signs, and support for procedures in a team-based setting.

Qualifications

• Certification per American Association of Medical Assistants preferred (AHA).
• Proficient computer skills required.
• Experience working with an electronic health record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients and families with respect and dignity.
• Facilitates patient flow during encounters.
• Completes chart prep and reviews medication lists and test results.
• Maintains and updates clinical information and allergy lists.
• Performs patient intake including vital signs and documentation in the EMR.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to policies and regulations.
