No extensive experience or certifications are required; two weeks of paid training is provided, and you can work up to 20 hours weekly with some Saturdays. Strong people skills and a willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 3 months of medical setting experience with phlebotomy, injections, and vitals OR 180 externship hours.
• Medical Assistant certification is preferred but not required.
• Criminal background check must be cleared.
• Ability to work up to 20 hours per week with some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Take manual vitals and perform routine blood draws.
• Administer IM and subcutaneous injections as directed.
• Prepare and process lab specimens and maintain equipment.
• Support front desk and assist providers to ensure smooth clinic flow.
• Create a friendly, positive patient experience.
