Qualifications

• MA education; BLS within 30 days; EMR experience (ADP Workforce Now).

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for the health care visit and assists providers during examinations.
• Verifies patient information, updates charts, takes vital signs.
• Assists with ECGs, heart monitors, and telephoning prescriptions.
• Performs wound care/dressing and patient education.
• Keeps records in EMR and ensures patient confidentiality.
