Job summary

Logan Health seeks a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant to support the Behavioral Health Clinic in Whitefish, MT. This part-time role (25 hours per week) focuses on patient care, clinic flow, and collaboration with providers to deliver compassionate mental health services.

Qualifications

• Certification as RMA or CMA by an accredited body.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within seven days of hire.
• One year of medical practice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and prepare patients for appointments, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs.
• Assist behavioral health providers with patient care, examinations, and treatments prioritizing comfort and safety.
• Collect laboratory specimens and document patient information in the EMR.
• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, scheduling, and follow-up appointments to support continuity of care.
• Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies, and assist with patient calls and portal communications.
