Job summary

Navion of New Bern is seeking Certified Medication Technicians for medication administration and caregiving roles in a cutting-edge Assisted Living Community. This is a part-time 2nd shift position supporting residents in New Bern, NC.

You will provide high-quality medication administration, resident care oversight, and maintain confidentiality under HIPAA while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Training and onboarding are provided, with opportunities to grow within the Navion family.

Qualifications

• Must have State Approved Medication Aide course.
• Minimum 18 years old and high school diploma.
• Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Certification required.
• Must communicate effectively in written and oral form within an interdisciplinary care setting.
• Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment.
• Ability to work in an environment caring for seniors without safety/health risks.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates positive relationships with residents, families and staff.
• Promotes residents' rights with dignity and respect.
• Attends in-service and continuing education as required by state regulations.
• Maintains confidentiality of residents' information per HIPAA guidelines.
• Documents changes in a resident's condition to the supervisor promptly.
• Operates equipment safely and adheres to training.
• Follows community policies and procedures.
• Supports shift scheduling and assigned tasks.
