Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Successful completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course.
• PCA or CNA certification required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates positive relationships with residents, families and staff.
• Promotes residents' rights and treats residents with dignity and respect.
• Attends in-service and continuing education required by state regulations.
• Maintains confidentiality of residents' information per HIPAA guidelines.
• Documents accurately and descriptively.
• Reports changes in a resident's condition to the supervisor promptly.
• Operates equipment safely and in line with training.
• Infection control precautions are followed during all activities.
• Familiar with fire and emergency procedures.
