Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) is seeking part-time adjunct faculty for the Mechanical & Materials Engineering Department to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses. Start dates vary by course; applications remain in the pool until the posting closes. Responsibilities include teaching with expertise, providing feedback, and grading.

PhD preferred; master's required for related discipline. Compensation is $7,000–$7,500 per course.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching college-level courses is required.
• Strong mechanical engineering background preferred.
• Willingness to teach day and/or evening classes.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses from established curriculum with personal expertise.
• Provide timely feedback to students; grade assignments.
• Prior experience teaching college-level courses.
