Job summary

Homeland in Altus, OK is seeking a Meat Wrapper for part-time hours (10am to 7pm). You will greet customers, wrap meat cuts, verify invoices, and keep the cooler organized while ensuring health codes are followed. Prior supervisory experience and basic math skills are encouraged. The role emphasizes accurate cash handling and friendly service.

You will report to the Meat Department Manager and work in a fast-paced store environment focused on customer care and safety.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematics skills required.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and ring up customers politely.
• Wrap cuts of meat by the pound carefully and under health codes.
• Understand and convey store policies and equipment usage clearly.
• Supervise or organize cooler/freezer areas and verify invoices.
• Inspect deliveries for shortages/damage and quality; date items.
• Lift and carry up to 80 lbs and maintain wrapping standards.
