Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. (UNFI) is seeking a part-time Meat Team Member for Cub Plymouth on Rockford Road. You will cut, wrap, prep, stock, and provide friendly service in the meat and seafood department, ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities include maintaining cases, handling orders and shipments, and assisting customers. The role requires multitasking, adherence to safety standards, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Equipment operation knowledge for meat processing and handling.
• Able to stand and walk long periods during shifts.
• Basic reading, writing and math for orders and labeling.
• Provide prompt, courteous customer service with accuracy.
• Follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; request supplies when needed.
• Work shifts varying in length, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain meat and seafood cases and displays.
• Cut, wrap, and prepare meat and seafood products.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, cases, and work areas.
• Assist customers with questions about locations and selections.
• Answer department phone calls or refer as appropriate.
• Assist in ordering and receiving meat and seafood shipments.
