Job summary

Paycom - ATS Meat Department is seeking a Meat Cutter/Wrapper to prepare beef, pork, poultry and lamb to meet customer needs. You will cut, trim, and grind as directed, display products, and maintain clean, safe work areas.

The role requires reading/writing for tagging, dexterity, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and at least one year of meat wrapper experience. You will work in a fast-paced team, uphold health and safety standards, and provide friendly service to customers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write to properly tag product.
• Must have dexterity to cut and trim meats.
• Physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Stand for most of the scheduled shift.
• Minimum one year experience as a meat wrapper.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and grind all meat as directed by standards.
• Display product on meat trays to create an eye-appealing presentation.
• Maintain neat, sanitary work, display, and storage areas.
• Communicate temperature failures of cases and storage areas to the supervisor.
• Provide prompt and courteous service to customers.
• Follow health, weights, and measures laws and company policies.
• Assist in wrapping and packaging of product when needed.
