Job description

Rochester West Cub on Scott Rd. is seeking a part-time Meat Department Team Member!

Responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining meat and seafood cases
2. Performing meat and seafood cutting, wrapping, and preparation
3. Cleaning and sanitizing equipment, cases, work area, and sales floor
4. Assisting customers with product questions and suggestions
5. Answering department phone calls and responding or referring as appropriate
6. Assisting in ordering and receiving shipments of meat and seafood

Requirements include:

1. Operating equipment such as meat slicers, scales, and other tools listed
2. Ability to walk and stand for long periods
3. Basic skills in memorization, reading, writing, and math
4. Providing prompt, courteous customer service
5. Good judgment with minimal supervision
6. Ability to follow verbal and demonstrated instructions
7. Availability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
8. Must be 18 years or older
9. Relevant experience preferred

Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs, pushing/pulling up to 2500 lbs, walking on uneven ground, reaching, bending, and exposure to hot equipment and oils.

Schedule: Varies weekly shifts.
