Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is seeking a part-time, on-call Meals on Wheels delivery driver to support seniors in Milwaukee County. You will pick up meals, verify correct items, load them securely, and follow routes using a smartphone app.

Shifts run 9:30 am–1:30 pm with pay at an hourly rate plus mileage reimbursement. No company vehicle is provided; you must have your own reliable vehicle and insurance. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a reliable vehicle for deliveries; company vehicle is not provided.
• Must carry own vehicle insurance; driving record acceptable to insurance carrier.
• Previous experience with older adults and driving is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Pick up meals at dispatch location.
• Check meals to assure correct type and number loaded into hot boxes and coolers.
• Review manifest for additions and deletions.
• Report non-deliveries to Home Delivered Meal Program staff at route end.
• Do not leave meals with anyone other than the client.
• Safely transport and handle program food and equipment per policy.
