Job summary

Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging (ENOA) is seeking a Home Delivered Meals Driver to deliver noon meals to homebound elderly in the LaVista area. The position is Mon–Fri, typically 11:00 am to 1:30 pm, about 2–3 hours per day.

This part-time role requires reliable attendance, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 25 pounds, and basic map-reading skills to locate meal program clients. Training and HIPAA compliance are included.

Qualifications

• Must report to work as scheduled on a regular and reliable basis.
• Complete required pre-service orientation and training.
• Must hold a valid motor Vehicle Operator’s License from Nebraska or Iowa or become licensed within 30 days of hire.
• Must have a good driving record (no violations in last 12 months or accidents in last 2 years).
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals to homebound elderly.
• Read city maps to identify meal client addresses.
• Maintain professionalism and meet time/service standards.
• Complete time sheets and mileage forms and submit to supervisor on time.
• Notify central office staff if delivery difficulties occur.
