Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado delivers meals and supplies to seniors, Head Start, and community partners through the Central Kitchen network. The Delivery Driver packs, loads, and organizes agency vehicles to ensure timely routes and clear communication with clients and volunteers.

The role requires background checks, a valid Colorado driver’s license, proof of insurance, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Work is on a part-time schedule with morning hours, primarily Tue–Sat.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check and annual MVR with no major violations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in packaging meals and supplies as needed to ensure proper delivery.
• Load meals, milk and supplies into vehicles according to route sheets and VOA specs.
• Drive safely along assigned routes to deliver meals and supplies on schedule.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any safety or mechanical issues promptly.
