Job summary

Kettering-Heights-Post-Acute is seeking a compassionate dining aide to help prepare, portion, and serve meals to residents. You will set up dining areas, deliver meals with a friendly smile, and support residents with requests while following safety guidelines.

This part-time role requires teamwork with cooks, dietary staff, and the nursing team. Prior food-service experience is a plus, but we offer training.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare, portion, and serve meals, snacks, and beverages.
• Set up dining areas and make sure everything is ready for mealtime.
• Deliver meals to residents with a friendly smile.
• Assist with meal service and resident requests.
• Wash dishes and keep kitchen and dining areas clean and organized.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and special-diet guidelines.
• Work with cooks, dietary staff, and the nursing team.
• Keep the kitchen running smoothly even when busy.
• Treat residents with kindness, patience, and respect.
