Job summary

KETTERINGHEIGHTS is seeking a part-time, rotating-shifts dining assistant to help prepare, portion, and serve meals and beverages for residents. You will set up dining areas, deliver meals with a friendly smile, and assist with resident requests.

Training is available for the right candidate. Ideal applicants have a positive attitude and reliability, and enjoy teamwork while following food-safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare, portion, and serve meals, snacks, and beverages.
• Set up dining areas and ensure readiness for mealtime.
• Deliver meals to residents with a friendly smile.
• Assist with meal service and resident requests.
• Wash dishes and keep kitchen and dining areas clean and organized.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and special-diet guidelines.
• Work with cooks, dietary staff, and nursing team.
• Help keep the kitchen running smoothly—even during busy times.
• Treat residents with kindness, patience, and respect.
