Job summary

North Carolina A&T State University invites applications for a Part-Time Instructor in Mathematics for Fall 2026. The position teaches lower-division math or statistics, with a maximum load of 12 semester credits, typically as four 3-credit courses or three 4-credit courses.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Mathematical Education with at least 18 graduate credit hours in mathematics or statistics.
• 1–2 years teaching experience at University/Community College preferred.
• Commitment to diversity and inclusive teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach lower-division mathematics or statistics courses (precalculus, calculus, probability & statistics).
• Provide tutoring and academic support to students.
• Attend required training/workshops; assist in data collection and assessment of student learning.
• Submit teaching materials for semester teaching evaluations.
