Contributors design computational mathematics problems requiring Python programming with Numpy, SciPy, and SymPy, ensuring solutions are verifiable and well-documented. Tasks are ~10–20 hours weekly during active phases.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mathematics (Pure or Applied) required.
• Proficient in Python for numerical validation.
• 2+ years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching contexts.
• Experience with numerical methods and symbolic computation.
• Familiarity with computational complexity theory.
• Strong written English (C1+) required.

Responsibilities

• Design original computational mathematics problems that simulate real mathematical research workflows.
• Create Python-based problems requiring NumPy/SciPy/Sympy to solve.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and non-trivial to solve manually.
• Develop problems mirroring real research workflows and practical applications.
• Verify solutions using Python with standard mathematical libraries.
• Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.
