Job summary

Think Zone Learning Center in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a part-time Math Tutor for K–8 students. You’ll provide one-on-one math instruction, build confidence, and gain leadership and teaching experience while balancing school commitments.

Curriculum, materials, and training are provided; no long lesson planning required. Shifts mainly after school, 2:30–7:30 PM on weekdays with potential extra hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in math required.
• Clear communication, patience, and reliability are essential.
• Experience teaching or tutoring is a plus but not required.
• Our curriculum, materials, and training are provided.

Responsibilities

• Tutor K–8 students through one-on-one math instruction.
• Explain math concepts in an understandable way.

A Schedule That Fits Around School

This role is designed to work around your school schedule.

Typical shifts include:

• Tuesday & Thursday: 2:30 PM – 7:30 PM
• Wednesday & Friday: 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

We're looking for tutors who can work 2–4 shifts per week, with Saturday availability strongly preferred.

It's a great opportunity to earn money while balancing classes, sports, clubs, and other extracurricular activities.
