Job summary

Workstream is looking for passionate Math tutors to transform the lives of K-12th grade students in Brighton, Michigan. You will engage with students through in-center and online tutoring using the Mathnasium Method. Ideal candidates have a love for math, interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn.

This role offers flexible part-time hours after school and on weekends, a supportive work culture, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
• Ability to balance various ongoing tasks.
• Applicants must pass a math literacy test.

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or hybrid using Mathnasium Method.
• Work collaboratively with team members.
• Assess students’ learning progress.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials.
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment.
