Job summary

Mathnasium of East Wichita is seeking a part-time Math Tutor/Instructor to provide high-quality math instruction to students in a small-group setting. You will assess progress, correct work, and support learners with a focus on Algebra I-level concepts.

You must be able to start now, commit through the school year and beyond, and work on-site during the specified hours. Training is provided, and flexible hours are available for students.

Qualifications

• Exceptional math competency through Algebra I or higher.
• Pass a math competency exam prior to hiring.
• Strong verbal communication; English clear and understandable.
• Comfortable with digital technology and on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional math instruction using Mathnasium materials.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback.
• Evaluate and correct student work and homework.
• Provide individual instruction in a small group setting.
• Assist with non-teaching tasks as needed.
