Job summary

Livius Prep is seeking part-time, in-person Math and Science tutors for high school students in the Newton and Lexington centers. You’ll join a collaborative team that handles scheduling and billing so you can focus on teaching and student progress.

Ideal candidates have strong math/science knowledge, tutoring experience, and enjoy flexible evenings/weekends with professional development and supportive staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in a related field.
• Strong background in Math and Science.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and some daytime flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Support students in Math and/or Science subjects.
• Track progress and communicate with families and staff.
• Create a positive, motivating learning environment.
• Help students build confidence, organization, and academic skills.
