Job summary

Catapult Learning, Inc. is seeking a Math and Reading Intervention Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in Sarasota County, FL.

This part-time role offers 15-24 hours per week with sessions during regular school hours, serving students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face setting. You will implement Reading/ELA and Math interventions, use company curriculum, maintain records, meet with parents, and differentiate instruction based on student data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Valid Florida Teaching Certificate or Statement of Eligibility.
• Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience.
• Willingness and ability to teach both Math and Reading/ELA to various grade levels.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.
• Unwavering belief that all children can learn.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Reading/ELA and Math in small groups across multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting with a focus on intervention.
• Deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills to eligible students using company-designed materials and strategies.
• Use company curriculum to develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Supervise students at all times and escort safely to and from classrooms/learning stations (stairs and light lifting may be required).
• Enter data in a timely fashion for attendance, pre/post testing, progress reports, and communications.
• Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.
• Maintain student forms and files per regulatory requirements.
• Maintain consistent communication with supervisors, teachers, principals, and parents.
• Differentiate instruction and track progress; engage students and foster ownership; seek professional growth.
• Other duties as assigned.
