Job summary

Catapult Learning, Inc. is seeking an Intervention Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in Pinellas County, FL. The role focuses on small-group Reading/ELA and Math instruction for grades 6-8, with 6 hours per week and a pay rate of $27 per hour.

The position involves face-to-face instruction, data entry, parent meetings, and collaboration with teachers and administrators to support student learning and progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Valid and current FL Teaching Certificate/Statement of Eligibility.
• Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience.
• Willingness and ability to teach both Math and Reading/ELA to various grade levels.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.
• Unwavering belief that all children can learn.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Reading/ELA and Math to small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting with a focus on intervention.
• Deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills to eligible students using company materials and strategies.
• Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans using provided curriculum.
• Supervise students at all times and escort to/from classrooms; light lifting may be required.
• Enter data timely for attendance, testing, progress reports, and communications.
• Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.
• Maintain student files per agency requirements; ensure compliance.
• Maintain communication with supervisors, teachers, principals, and parents.
• Differentiate instruction, engage students, and track progress; participate in coaching and training.
• Other duties as assigned.
