Job summary

Alma del Mar seeks a Part-Time Math Specialist to plan and teach targeted interventions for students with IEPs, collaborating with teachers to design instruction that advances learning. You will build strong relationships with families and work with the academic support team to ensure student progress, while maintaining autonomy to meet scholars' needs.

The ideal candidate holds a BA or higher, MA DESE licensure in moderate disabilities or as a math specialist, and at least one year of full-time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• At least one year of full-time teaching experience.
• Proven effectiveness leading students to academic gains with data (include data in resume).
• Massachusetts DESE Licensure in moderate disabilities or math specialist required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach highly effective math interventions for students with IEPs.
• Collaborate with curriculum and academic support teams to design instruction.
• Develop high-leverage relationships with Alma families and communities.
