Job summary

Art of Problem Solving (AoPS) is hiring a Part-Time Math Instructor for our Fremont, CA location. This in-person role will involve teaching AoPS curriculum to small classes, engaging students, and providing feedback on assessments.

You will manage up to 16 students per session, build relationships with students and families, and foster a love for learning and critical thinking in mathematics. A Bachelor's degree is required, with STEM or education emphasis preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Bachelor's in STEM or education field is strongly preferred.
• Strong content knowledge in math.
• Experience teaching or tutoring students.

Responsibilities

• Teach using AoPS curriculum to small math classes.
• Engage students in class and student-led learning.
• Manage up to 16 students per class.
• Grade tests and provide feedback.
• Build relationships with students and families.
