Job summary

Valencia College's Mathematics Division is seeking a Part-Time Mathematics instructor to support courses such as MAT, STA, MAC, MGF, and MAP, across level ranges. The instructor will emphasize conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and active student engagement in a collaborative classroom environment.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering OR 18 graduate semester hours in a qualifying field and a Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
Face-to-Face and Mixed Mode modalities are offered for courses.
Residency requirement: establish Florida residency within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

Prepares and delivers instruction to students in assigned modalities.
Provides timely feedback on student progress and mastery.
Prepares and submits required documentation (syllabi, attendance, grades).
Maintains up-to-date information on student services and college policies.
Maintains professional development and meets certification requirements.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
