Maryland Nonprofits seeks a Community Health Nurse (Contractual) to provide short-term home visiting for newborn families at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. The role reports to the Nurse Manager and supports Family Connects Maryland.

Part-time (17.5 hours/week), contractual start 8/30/26 to 8/29/27, salary $40,000 annually. The nurse will assess needs across 12 domains and document visits within 24 hours, coordinating referrals as needed.

Competenze

• Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program; Bachelors preferred.
• Current Maryland RN licensure required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience; community-based/home visiting preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and provide culturally sensitive care.

Mansioni

• Provide short term home visiting to families with newborns in the Sinai Hospital area.
• Assess family needs across physical and psychosocial domains and refer to community resources.
• Follow Family Connects home visiting protocol and document records promptly.
• Schedule and conduct at least 6 home visits per week and maintain 8 open slots.
• Collaborate with Nurse Supervisor and participate in staff meetings.
• Complete required statistical reports and program evaluations.
