Job summary

Bonita Bay Club is seeking a Part-Time Massage Therapist to provide massage and body treatments to our members at the Spa. You will assess medical needs with members before treatments and ensure adherence to spa guidelines.

You will maintain treatment rooms, follow sanitation procedures, and deliver exceptional customer service while supporting a positive Spa team and upholding the Bonita Bay Club brand.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a State Certified Massage Therapy School.
• Must hold a current State of Florida Massage Therapy License.
• CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Lift up to 20 lbs as needed.
• Exposure to chemicals and fragrances used in services.
• Repetitive movements with hands and arms.
• Strong people and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including some weekends/holidays.
• Desire to deliver superior customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform massage and body treatments per Spa Bonita Bay Club standards.
• Analyze and consult on medical needs with members prior to treatments.
• Maintain facilities, rooms, and sanitation per guidelines.
• Assist with inventory and linen dispensation as required.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PART-TIME MASSAGE THERAPIST

As a Part-Time Massage Therapist at Bonita Bay Club, you will be bringing comfort to our members while performing massage and body treatments according to the standards and procedures of the Spa at Bonita Bay Club. You will analyze and consult on medical needs with members prior to treatments, according to the Spa guidelines. Ensuring that the facilities are up to standard, you will maintain both couples and wet treatment rooms. You will be expected to comply with room set-up, sanitation procedures, inventory and linen dispensation guidelines, and safety measures. By providing quality customer service and support to the members of Bonita Bay Club, you will be maintaining and improving the Bonita Bay Club brand.

Job Skills And Qualifications

• Graduate of a State Certified Massage Therapy School.
• Must have a current State of Florida Massage Therapy License.
• CPR/AED certification or be willing to become certified.
• Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to be exposed to various chemicals and fragrances used in performing services.
