Job summary

University of Florida seeks a Part-Time UF/IFAS Florida 4-H Camp Cloverleaf Environmental Education Educator to deliver marine and environmental education to K-12 students, with on-site housing if available. The role includes teaching, organizing, and evaluating programs while supporting animal care and facilities.

Two seasonal terms are offered, with typical M-F hours 8-5 and some evenings/weekends. Must have a high school diploma; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Apply by Feb 1, 2027.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in sciences, education, natural resources, youth development or related fields is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach, organize, and evaluate educational programs for K-12 students.
• Provide programmatic support to maintain environmental education classes and materials.
• Assist with education animal care and on-site facilities maintenance.
• Support dining hall duties during on-site programs as needed.
• Handle additional programmatic responsibilities as required.
