Job summary

UNC Pembroke invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions in the Department of Management, International Business and Supply Chain Management (MIBS). The positions are 0.5 FTE, part-time temporary, nine months per year, with a Monday–Friday schedule, teaching in areas such as Business Communications, Organization and Management, and Supply Chain Management.

Candidates with a terminal degree (Ph.D./DBA) and recent peer-reviewed publications are preferred; experience in online

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or DBA with peer-reviewed publications in the last 5 years receive the highest priority.
• Ph.D./DBA holders with professional experience and master’s degree holders with 18 hours in the appropriate teaching areas will be seriously considered.
• All degrees from accredited institutions; AACSB-accredited schools receive priority.
• Teaching experience is preferred.
• Undergraduate and MBA-level teaching experience is highly desirable.
• Online education delivery experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Teach designated discipline areas in Management, International Business and Supply Chain Management.
• Contribute to online and in-person teaching initiatives as needed.
• Engage undergraduate and MBA students to promote active learning.
