Job summary

Unified Women’s Healthcare is seeking a Mammography Technologist for the Orlando, FL mammography office. The role performs 3D digital mammography to support breast imaging within an affiliated OBGYN practice, ensuring high quality exams and timely results.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT and mammography certification, an associate degree in radiologic sciences, and at least two years of mammography experience. This on-site position supports MQSA/ACR requirements and professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• ARRT Registration R.T.(R) Required.
• ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) Required.
• State Department of Radiation Control License (if applicable).
• Maintain registry status and continuing education.
• Minimum two years of mammography experience preferred.
• English communication required by job duties.
• Reading and writing in English to complete documentation, reports, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography imaging and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammographic exams.
• Interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
• Complete patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.
• Complete medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results and escalate when needed.
• Support MQSA and ACR requirements and ongoing education.
