Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a part-time Mammographer to perform screening and diagnostic mammography, bone densitometry, and stereotactic breast biopsy where applicable. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, teamwork across departments, and clear communication with patients and families.

Candidates should have radiologic technology training, ARRT radiographer registration, mammography certification or registry-eligible, and an Ohio radiologic license.

Qualifications

• Graduates from a Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registration as a radiographer required; ARRT mammography registration or registry-eligible required.
• Valid State of Ohio Radiologic License required.
• Mammography certification or Registry-eligible per MQSA criteria.

Responsibilities

• Documents accurately, pertinent assessments, interventions and outcomes for patients in accordance with standards.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other departments, physicians and staff.
• Communicates clearly with patients and families.
