Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Mammographer to perform a full range of mammographic, screening and diagnostic imaging procedures, including bone densitometry and stereotactic breast biopsy. The role requires graduation from a Radiologic Technology program and ARRT radiographer certification with mammography credentials or registry eligibility, plus an Ohio Radiologic License.

Prior mammography experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT radiographer certification is required; registry eligible for mammographer also acceptable.
• Ohio Radiologic License required.
• Mammography certification through ARRT or registry eligible.

Responsibilities

• Documents accurately, pertinent assessments, interventions and outcomes for patients in accordance with documentation standards, policies procedures and/or guidelines.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other department/service lines, physicians and staff.
• Establishes and maintains strong positive communication with patients and families.

Education

Graduate of Radiologic Technology program

ARRT radiographer certification (required)

ARRT mammographer certification or registry eligible

Ohio Radiologic License required

Mammography certification through ARRT or registry eligible
